Marian Bjantes

While doing research for a typography project, I found the design work of Marian Bjantes. She is known for beautiful, artistic typography and for her valentines, which she makes by hand and gives away by the hundreds each year.

Marjane Satrapi

I first found a copy of Presipolis in an independent comic book store ten years ago. I sat there reading it until they closed and then went back the next day!

Gunta Stölzl

Wall hanging "Slit Tapestry Red/Green" 1927/28
Although I had heard of the Bauhaus before, it wasn’t until I took a Graphic Design history course that I learned about the work of Gunta Stölzl.
